The award-winning Darwin Armchair is a stylish twist on the quintessential Windsor chair. The unique design draws on the classic Windsor features but incorporates a more contemporary look.

Traditionally crafted in solid English ash with steam-bent back spindles, and a generously sculpted back for comfort, it has the added luxury and comfort of a naturally soft upholstered seat.

This beautifully crafted and perfectly balanced shape make the Darwin an extremely versatile chair for any setting from bedroom to office and everywhere in between.

Tropicana is a striking, contemporary leaf print fabric from Matthew Williamson's Cubana collection. The Tropicana fabric features a series of tropical palm leaves, set against a contrasting coloured ground. Printed on pure, soft cotton this fabric is as luxurious as it is beautiful.

As part of our Bespoke Service, we will upholster the seats in your choice of Designer Fabric, either from our own Collection or one of your own choosing.

The Darwin is an iconic design. Hand-carved from sustainably sourced English Ash specially selected for the depth of natural grain. Our specialist polishing team can hand-oil, stain or wax the Darwin to any natural shade to match your cabinetry and overall interior.
